A Trip to Hangzhou

December 29, 2009

Or this post should be better titled Chezeball’s trip to Hangzhou?

Oh yes, it’s inevitable that you only see my friend Chezeball in the pictures as obviously I was the person doing the shooting. Nevertheless when you had the scenery and the model to work with, it’s a great moment to get some practice on your photography skills…

And likewise, I am suspecting that I appear in Chezeball’s photo album as often as she does in mine.

What should I say about Hangzhou anyway except that it was freezing cold when we went? Well … really nothing much too interesting as you can probably see in the photos… we really didn’t get to see many places in a day except 郭庄 and 岳庙, a bit of of 西湖 of course.

Taking it slow is always nice – at least I could get more pictures taken! :)

Good model, Good scenes and Good photographer! Hangzhou surely is a very good place for shooting!
Did you guys go to Suzhou too? This is also quite an ancient city and looks much older than Hangzhou.

  • Yammie

Thanks Richard… nope we didn’t go, but in fact I’d been in Suzhou before. And is a good thing that we didn’t go because…. it would be even colder than Hangzhou!!!!! :P

The morning we got to Hangzhou I didn’t even want to get out of the train station LOL…

  • Richard Li

    Good excuse for you…haha!
Oh! Then Chezeball should be really missing something if she’d never been there before.
Yes, agreed la, Out of Shanghai, these two cities are being felt freezing during this period even no snow, like May and I got the same two years ago.
Sigh! Perhaps I will also have to go there after Shanghai trip’s this time. How do I survive at that time….:((

Chezeball can go when she comes back to SH again… but we are thinking to take the train to Nanjing next time – only 2.5 hours away!

Haha you will be fine – I am going to BJ in Jan!!!!! Anyway when are you coming to SH Richard?!

  • Richard Li

Oh! Nanjing is a good place as well! 明十三陵,中山陵.雨花台…but be advised not to be there during summer if you do know it is one of the major stoves in Mainland…. Otherwise becomes a roasted pig lol ! Haha…
My planning to SH is around 10th Jan after Xiamen and will stay at least 4-5days over there.
Are you planning to be back to HK in early Jan (quoted by Kylie) or will be in Beijing instead?

  • Yammie

Haha really thanks for the reminder – I will make sure we avoid travelling during the summer season…

Call me when you get to SH… I am supposed to be back in HK but I really don’t think I should – there are tonnes of stuff for me to do here and being away is really disturbing…

I’ll be in BJ end of January…
